The job fair scheduled for this Saturday at the public library has been cancelled.

Just a reminder…there will be no late bus for Thursday, April 1st. 

Help South Windsor High School go GREEN by purchasing a 100% Organic Green T-shirt during today's lunch wave.  Support recycling while showing your green for St. Patty's day.  T-shirts are $10.  Pick one up in Mrs. Eitel's Room (Room 206) if you miss today.

The Interact Club would like to congratulate the following students for being elected as leaders for next year’s club: Greg Pendergast, President; Zach Filkoff, Vice President; Mike Figueiredo, Treasurer; and Saerey Chau, Secretary. It was a close and exciting election. Congratulations to all!

There will be a short GSA meeting today to discuss the True Colors Conference and plan the rest of the year. Please attend if only for a short while.  Time: 2:10pm, Place: Room 145.

Our Spring Blood Drive will be held April 1st in the gym.  Want to sign up and save three lives?  See Mrs. Belval in Room 204.

The Habitat for Humanity meeting will be held right after school in Senora Petros’ room.  Fundraising ideas will be finalized.

The in-school tutoring program is looking for student tutors.  This program meets during study halls in the school day. If you would like to be a tutor, and are interested in helping out other students, please see Mrs. Stone in the guidance office.

Attention students…if you had fun at the winter semi-formal, you should definitely come to the Blacklight Dance this Friday night from 7:00pm-11:00pm in the cafe!! Tickets are $7 and are on sale during all lunch waves through Friday 3/19. This is a casual dance and the dress code will be enforced.  Part of the proceeds will go to the Red Cross for Earthquake relief in Haiti.       

There will be a mandatory FBLA meeting after school in Room 122 tomorrow (3/18).

Students involved in the Broken Dreams program need to pick up permission slips in the main office.  Please see Mrs. Rizzo.

All members of the Yes Club should report to the lobby at 1:30pm today to board the bus for Center Road School.

Attention Junior Class: Prom information can now be found on the school website or outside of rooms 152 and 163. 

Are you thinking about a career in engineering? Current 10th and 11th graders are encouraged to apply to UCONN's Explore Engineering Summer Program. It is a one week residential program that explores all areas of engineering. Stop into the Career Center for more information about this and many other summer programs.
