In class we will be working on the following reading strategies:  questioning, predicting, clarifying, connecting, rereading, visualizing, summarizing, and commenting.  Students should be reading at least 20-30 minutes every night as a shared reading assignment with the language arts class. Always have an independent reading book and bring it to class.
