School Resource Officer Charlie Bowes

Officer Bowes would like to welcome students, faculty and parents to his website. The SRO office is located in room 101 where students are always welcome. They can speak with Officer Bowes about any conflicts, questions or concerns that they may have or they can just go and visit!

Officer Bowes has been a police officer in South Windsor for seven years serving within the patrol division. In addition to his current assignment as SRO, he is also assigned as a certified Field Training Officer (FTO) and as a member of the Juvenile Review Board (JRB).

Officer Bowes grew up in Wethersfield, Ct. and attended Wethersfield High School. After graduating high school, he attended Trinity College and Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) where he graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Business Management. After graduating from CCSU, he worked for Aetna Retirement Services and CIGNA Healthcare prior to becoming a police officer.

The 2011-2012 school year will be Officer Bowes's fourth year as the high school SRO and he is looking forward to once again working with the students and staff at South Windsor High School.
