LATE BUSES

Late Buses run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a few exceptions which are noted on the Late Bus Schedule.

There are 5 buses which service the Town of South Windsor, departing Timothy Edwards at 4:15 p.m.  There is a bus that picks up at South Windsor High School at 4:00 p.m. and another bus at the South Windsor Community Center at 4:00 p.m. which then both go to Timothy Edwards where students will board their correct late bus.

Each late bus has a designated route that it follows.  Color coded maps are posted at the high school and the middle school so the students can determine which bus they need to take to get as close to home as possible.  Please remember there are only 5 buses dropping off all students so they may need to walk further than their regular scheduled a.m. and p.m. bus stops.  The students boarding the late buses should let the drivers know when they need to stop.  Late buses stop only at intersections, unless traveling on Ellington Road, Oakland Road and Sullivan Avenue, where house stops are permitted.
